It has been stated that the only true constant is change, and no one is more aware of that than we Whovians. The TARDIS, the companions, even (and especially) the lead actor are all subject to change.

As we enter the final week before the first full episode starring Peter Capaldi as our beloved Time Lord, we take a look back at the “first go-round” episodes of his predecessors, what they contributed to the DW mythos, and see if they provide some indication of what (if anything) we can expect.
