It’s the tale of Medusa brought to 21st-century England, but with an alien twist and a phalanx of creepy nuns to boot. Credit to writer Phil Ford for the clever adaptation, and particularly the very Whovian ‘twist’ in the true nature of the Gorgon in the final act. We love the way the three kids’ personas are meshing already, and that we’re finally addressing the impact of the Jacksons’ divorce on Maria.
