After four days of con activity (and as many days recovery rest), we evaluate the challenges and successes of the 32nd installment of North America’s largest Whovian convention.

Julie interviews the rest of the GPR team to see what we observed, what was learned, and specifically what was done to keep attendees, guests, and staff safe in this first “Gally1” event since the pandemic lockdown began in early 2020. We discuss the safety precautions, the truncated numbers, the reception of and reactions from special guests like Mandip Gill and Jo Martin, and what the weekend means for a viable return of fan conventions of this scale — and larger — in the months and years to come.
