We’re pleased to be back to our SJA rewatch — or as is the case with half of our team, a first watch — and storylines that don’t require the sort of laser focus that is admittedly flagging at this point in the calendar year.

The zipper gets pulled back on an alien invasion that feels right at home in a youth sci-fi story that doesn’t try to take itself too seriously.

We look into the appropriateness of this villain for this target audience, the introduction of Clyde’s character, and the carefully framed relationship between Sarah Jane and Luke.
