The Time Agency has no HR department
Ever see an old coworker, and conversation gets awkward? Ever catch up with an ex, and experience THAT level of awkwardness? Try combining the two, and add an ego the intensity of a supernova.
Season 2 of Torchwood crashes in like a left hook, and even the return of fearless leader Jack can’t fully contain the shockwave that is Time Agent John Hart. You might say he even ‘bent over backward’ in the attempt. (Too soon?) We’re all thrilled to see the energy levels not only edge up, but the transitions from drama to action are feeling more justified, and the team itself is less scattered by single-character-emphasis stories. Keir feels like the Chibnall-written story has a particularly “Buffy” feel, but maybe that’s more than just the Marsters factor.
