‘Evil’ is such a subjective term, innit?

Using the classic role-playing-game grid of good-to-evil, lawful-to-chaotic, we see how Doctor Who characters past and present align themselves…or fail to be so defined. It becomes readily apparent that some characters are so well constructed — and have had such interesting opportunities for interaction and growth over the course of the show — that they can’t be easily ‘boxed in’ to a single identifying alignment. Oh, and then there’s that whole pesky regeneration thing, which is, but isn’t the same character, you know?
