If you had just one shot (daresay, one opportunity) to catch the attention of a new viewer with a single episode of Doctor Who based only on their preferred TV genre…could you name it?

That’s precisely what we’re trying to do this week, as we conduct a fun thought exercise testing our ability to get at the heart of different television program styles, and then identify a modern Doctor Who episode that could potentially appeal to that type of viewer.

It proved harder than it sounded at the outset, but the results were pretty impressive!
