Skewering the fifth segment of the Key to Time on a lance like seafood on a kebab, the Doctor and Romana find some very familiar struggles for power on a swamp moon. It’s not the most memorable of the 16th season stories, but we learn that K-9’s uselessness on this terrain allows John Leeson to have his only on-screen appearance, and that giant malicious squid are only entertaining to little Whovians until they attack the Doctor…and then they’re downright terrifying.
